QUESTION: Why in the world would a black person be a religious christian when the bible clearly approves of slavery?
ANSWER: Most black christians have not read the bible. They rely on their beloved pastor to preach the nice bible versus that make them feel good when they go to church. And when you tell a black person about slavery in the bible, the first thing they will say is “The was the old testament”. Sorry black christian… slavery is spoken in the new testament too. Even jesus spoke about slavery. If a black person actually reads the bible, they will realize that it is full of evil, and most likely become an atheist or at least agnostic. If you ask an atheist why are they atheist… most of them will say “I am an atheist because I read the bible”.
You can see clearly how they used Nat Turner to preach the bible to tame slaves. And in the year of 2016, most black preachers are still teaching that bible hope rhetoric… “Hang in there for you will be blessed when you reach heaven mumbo jombo”. It is mental brainwashing to make you feel that being broke and poor is the answer to getting into heaven. Black folks are the most religious people in American, and black folks have the most disconnected families, broke mentality, criminal thugs life, bad neighborhoods, hoodrats, single mothers, homosexuals… the list goes on and on.
